Prof. Dr. Erik van de Loo

Erik van de Loo (1956) is Professor of Organizational Behavior at INSEAD in Fontainebleau and Singapore. He also held Professorships at Tias School for Business and Society (Tilburg University, The Netherlands), UniRazak University (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and VU University Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Erik is a partner of Phyleon Governance and Leadership in The Hague, The Netherlands. He helps to create reflective space for boards, leaders and leadership teams in order to become more effective in the interrelated change and transformational processes on individual, team and organizational level. He is specialized and involved in leading large-scale transformations in organizations. His actual research focus is on Board Leadership and Board Dynamics, exploring the interaction between Boards of Executives and Non-Executives in their respective roles at the very top of the organization. Erik holds an MA degree in Psychology from Radboud University Nijmegen and a PhD from Leiden University.

Dr. Ruud Hermans

Ruud Hermans (1959) is a former partner with the Amsterdam based law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, specializing in complex litigation, restructuring and corporate advisory. Ruud served on De Brauw´s managing committee as head of the litigation practice from 2001 to 2005. Besides his Law degree, Ruud holds an MSc degree in Physics, both from Leiden University, and a PhD degree in Law from Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He regularly publishes on procedural law, corporate litigation and insolvency. Ruud is member of the supervisory board of the Reinier de Graaf Gasthuis, the oldest hospital in the Netherlands (established in 1252) and substitute judge in The Hague Court of Appeals. From 2019-2022 he was professor of Dispute Resolution at Radboud University, holding the rotating chair on behalf of the Centre for Professional Legal Education.

Rob Beens, MBA

Rob Beens (1962) provides management, consultancy and advisory support services. For more than 30 years, Rob has been active as executive director/CEO in different companies and industries. Rob holds an MSc degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His field of expertise is building and expanding international businesses, service and distribution management, and international marketing in B2B environments. After positions in corporate business (logistics and agriculture), he co-invested in an SME business in 2000. In 2014 the company was sold after realizing a successful European ‘buy and build’ strategy. He joined an agtech scale-up in 2016, launching its activities on a global scale. As of 2020, Rob supports SME companies in their business as advisor, consultant or (interim) manager.
